Uncertain future for Isiah Thomas

Isiah Thomas didn’t had much of a choice but to be ok with the decision of the hiring of Donnie Walsh as the new president for basketball operations and president of the Knicks.

Both Walsh and Thomas – who worked together in Indiana in the past – have not sit down and talk about the future of Thomas in the team, he’s still uncertain about his prevalence as head coach, but he knows the Knicks are hiring Walsh because they guy can take decisions and knows the business, on the other hand, Thomas has a 53-104 record since he took over for Larry Brown when the former got fired in 2004.

Thomas, who was hired by Walsh to take the head coaching position for the Pacers a while ago would need to be pretty convincent for him to stay with his current job, but even if he got a lower charge when Walsh completely takes over, he says he’s fine with any decisions that would come as a benefit for the team.

The Knicks are probably among the worst teams in the NBA, proof of this is yesterday’s game against the Grizzllies, which New York lost 130 to 114, allowing a total of 74 points just in the first half... did they knew there is something called deffense? That didn’t seemed pretty clear last night at Memphis.

All in all, I don’t think Isiah Thomas will remain as Knicks head coach, and New York fans would be the more pleased if he actually gets dismissed... well, with a record like the one he has, I wouldn’t have doubts about being happy too if he get’s a job... parking cars outside the Madison Square Garden.
