The ESPYS
The ESPY’s will be held on July 16th at the Nokia Theatre and aired on ESPN on July 20th.
The most nominated this year are the NY Giants due to their upset of the undefeated Pats, they will be on categories such as best team, best coach, best game, best upset and last but not least, for best game.
Here are the nominees in detail:
Best Male Athlete: Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant and Alex Rodriguez.
Best Female Athlete: Lorena Ochoa, Danica Patrick, Candance Parker, Linsey Vonn.

Venus Williams for Wimbledon 2007
Josh Beckett for 2007 World Series
Rafael Nadal for 2008 Roland Garros

Best record breaking performance:
Barry Bonds for his 762 home runs
Tom Brady and Randy Moss for their single-season touchdowns (50)

Best team:
NY Giants for upsetting the unbeaten Patriots and winning Super Bowl XLII
Boston Red Sox for their World series champion of 2007 that marked the franchise’s second in just four years.
The Kansas Jayhawks for their NCAA Basketball men’s championship win which meant the college’s third in history and which they won with their last13 games going undefeated.
The Celtics for winning their first NBA championship in 17 years.
And the Red Wings for winning their 11th franchise title.
