Week 6: Four Last second victories

How about this: Four games being decided at the last 10 seconds of the fourth quarter.

Sounds good? Well if you watched the games of week 6, then you have a hint of what I’m talking about.

First we have the Vikings whom upset the Lions by 12-10 on one of the ugliest games of the week, with Minnesota struggling against a team with the worst defense at the NFL, but Ran Longwell redeemed his team by scoring a field goal within 9 seconds for the Vikings victory.

Then we have the victory of the Falcons over the Bears on a game which finished 22-20. Jason Elam was first hated by Atlanta fans as he missed a 33-yard field goal with 3 minutes on the clock, but then he redeemed himself with a 48-yard kick that gave his team the victory on the final play.

The Rams achieved their first win of the season as Marc Bulger led the winning drive so Josh Brown could score a 49-yard field goal on the final play which gave his team a valuable 19-17 victory over the Redskins.

The Texans also came up with their first victory of the season as they upset Miami by a single point when Matt Schaub ran for a touchdown with 3 seconds left on the clock.

This is the first time since 1970 that four games are decided at the last moments of the fourth quarter on the same week.
