NBA MVP watch

The subject of who is the NBA’s Most Valuable Player is something that everyone wants to each NBA season. So many good players on the court, but only can take the coveted prize of being the best in the league. Players like Michael Jordan, David Robinson and Charles Barkley have won this prize.

So, who are the possible candidates to win this award this NBA season? Let’s check it out:

Many have said this and I will say it as well. The “King” of the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James, is one of the guys will most likely win the prize this year. He is leading his team in the Eastern Conference and even last season’s record. Although, some key players of the team are out due to injury, he still gets the job done.

Now that we have mentioned the Eastern Conference, let’s head down to Miami, where Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat is simply showing us why he’s such a great player. He was recently named East player of the month after averaging 30.7 points, 8.7 assists and 2.0 steals in 12 games.

Still staying on the East Coast, what about Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard? “Superman” has been kind of weird these past few games. He hasn’t been blocking that much, out of the past four games; he’s only blocked in two of them. Plus, his scoring percentage has gone down little. But, if he gets everything back together, he can still have a chance to win the MVP title.

Last but not least, Kobe Bryant. The Los Angeles Lakers have been extremely dominant this NBA season, and the work Bryant has done just makes things so much easier for the Lakers. He recently made another addition into his career, for the 96th time he made over 40 points in a game. He is currently ranked third in the league’s history books, behind Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.

There you have it, folks. Your top candidates to win the NBA MVP award this NBA season. These are guys who have all the tools to be this year’s best player on the court. Until the end of the NBA season, we’ll see who takes the prize.
