Pistons save series with win at Philadelphia
The Pistons just save themselves from going 3-0 in their series against a younger Sixers team, as they won the last of two games playing in Philadelphia by 93-84 and let things at 2-2 with the next meeting at Detroit on Tuesday.
Tayshaun Prince finished with 23 points while Rasheed Wallace contributed with 20 and 10 rebounds and Chauncey Billups helped with 18 points for the Pistons, while for the Sixers, Richard Hamilton ended with 18.
Antonio McDyess, who had noise surgery on Saturday morning, managed to fly from Detroit to Philadelphia and play for the Pistons, but as expected, his performance wasn’t the same as on his previous playoff presentations since he finished with only 10 points.
"Everybody knows that we are good under pressure, I hate that we put ourselves in this position a lot of times." guard Chauncey Billups said.
Things are getting interesting at this point, with underdog teams struggling for survival, and nothing has being said and done for anybody just yet.
