Jaromir Jagr gave Rangers first victory on semifinals
The Rangers were facing elimination yesterday when they entered game 4, with the pressure of being 3-0 in the series against the Penguins, they knew they had to woke up in order to stay alive, and so they did and won a game that was essential for staying in the competition.
Though it’s just a small step, since the Penguins are leading the series 3-1, the victory came as a boost of vital energy for a team that it doesn’t seemed ready to say goodbye.
The big hero last night was Rangers captain Jaromir Jagr, who scored the 3 goals at the Madison Square Garden, and fans where chanting his name when he went to the locker room after the win.
In despite of being down in the series, fans and critics alike are agree about Jagr, he has being crutial in the playoffs, and mostly on this semifinal against the Penguins, and so he’s praised as one of the best in history, some people even expect his name to be added to the NHL hall of fame.
